Karen McFarlane leads Kaye Media Partners, a strategic marketing practice that helps high-growth technology companies drive demand for their products and services, develops innovative mobile and web apps, and creates high-impact digital content. As a senior marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in the hi-tech, financial, real estate and entertainment fields, Karen works closely with the C-Suite to devise revenue-generating marketing programs that elevate brand image, improve marketing productivity and build strategic partnerships to grow their business.
Karen has worked with a wide range of startups, SMBs and major corporations that include Appboy, Acxiom, Creative Virtual, Def Jam Recordings, DoubleClick, Fivetran, FTI Consulting, New Line Cinema, PivotDesk, Prodigy Internet, TekServe, TriStar Pictures, Subway Restaurants, SendGrid, Smartling, and several agencies. Prior to founding Kaye Media Partners, Karen was the Director of Global Demand Generation at Return Path where she managed the inbound marketing and creative teams to generate new business and launched the first email deliverability conference. Before that, Karen worked at Bolt.com, the first social network for teens and HBO Home Video where she was instrumental in the launch of Time Warner’s first e-commerce properties.
Karen was an Adjunct Lecturer in Marketing at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. She volunteered for the Taproot Foundation and until recently, served on the Board of Jack and Jill of America Inc. – Mid-Hudson Valley as Technology Chair. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford, NY and on the Board of Directors for the American Marketing Association New York as the Membership and Volunteer Chair.
Karen received her B.S. from New York University, continued her studies in Media Arts and Film at NYU and later earned her M.B.A. from American Intercontinental University.
