American Marketing Association New York Appoints New Board Members and Organization Chairs

 

Fernanda Alexia Albanus, Marketing Specialist SAP Global, Sabrina Kizzie, Doctoral Lecturer, Baruch College, Maggie O’Neill, Managing Director & Co-President, Peppercomm and Britney Simone, Director of Lifecycle Marketing, Material Bank to step into new positions

New York, (September 15, 2025) — The American Marketing Association New York (AMA New York) has announced new members and chair positions to its prestigious Board of Directors, effective July, 1st 2025  The changes are a part of an overall Board reorganization which aims to further define and promote the Association’s mission to advance the marketing profession through innovation, empowerment, and impactful leadership.

New Board Members include:

  • Fernanda Alexia Albanus,  Marketing Specialist on SAP’s Global Social Media team, helping shape SAP’s digital voice worldwide, connecting campaigns to audience insights and driving stronger brand storytelling; 
  • Britney Simone, Director of Lifecycle Marketing, Material Bank who brings over 16 years of experience across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C brands, delivering bold vision and operational excellence to global brands looking to scale; 
  • Maggie O’Neill, Managing Director & Co-President, Peppercomm who brings 30+ years of integrated communications expertise and award-winning brand campaign work to her role; 
  • And Sabrina Kizzie, Doctoral Lecturer, Baruch College who is a celebrated educator and thought leader in social media marketing and DEI, bringing deep experience in both academia and industry. 

As Albanus, Simone, O’Neill and Kizzie begin their roles, AMA NEW YORK board members Karen Cummins, Alan Schulman, Peter Weingard and Ash Ahmad will be stepping down. We want to thank these board members for their tireless dedication and marketing impact over the years within the chapter.

In addition to the new Board appointees, AMA New York has named current Board members to the following Chair positions:

Lori Johnson Marketing Hall of Fame Chair
Craig Charney Research & Insights Chair
William Schroeder Communications Chair
Giunero Anthony Floro Event Committee Chair
