Davis Hechmer ‘21
President, AMA Fordham University
Davis Hechmer serves as President of the Fordham University chapter of the American Marketing Association. Davis will graduate in 2021 with a major in Digital Technologies and Emerging Media and a minor in Business Administration. Davis currently works as a Digital Lab Intern and Nike Communications. This summer he will internet in the Travel PR department of Nike Communications. You can connect with Davis here.
Nicole Hurowitz ‘21
President, AMA Stony Brook University
Nicole Hurowtiz serves as President of the Stony Brook chapter of the American Marketing Association. Nicole will graduate in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a concentration in Marketing. Nicole will soon start her internship at Gnostech, LLC. You can connect with Nicole here.
Alicia Nelson ‘22
President, AMA Pace University New York City
Alicia Nelson serves as President of the American Marketing Association at Pace University New York City. Alicia will graduate in 2022 with a major in Communication Studies and minors in Digital Marketing and Digital Media Studies. Alicia is currently a Public Relations Intern at To Taste, Campus Manager at Amazon Prime Student, Collegiate Ambassador at Monster Energy, and Desk Assistant at Pace University New York City. Olga Sukhopar’ 20
President, AMA Baruch College
Olga is President of the American Marketing Association at Baruch College. Olga graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Digital Marketing and a minor in Communications Studies. You can connect with Olga here.
INFLUENCE THE FUTURE OF AMA NEW YORK BY BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE JUNIOR ADVISORY COUNCIL
Collaborate with AMA New York on collegiate programs, expand your community through collaboration with other colleges, access the Board of Directors for chapter mentorship, and grow your personal network and career prospects. This opportunity is open to leaders of collegiate chapters or established college marketing clubs in the New York City area.
ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES
For a period of one year, Junior Advisory Council members will:
- Advise the Board of Directors on issues and trends affecting young marketers today, and provide feedback on current programming
- Pilot, manage or assist with the development of new programs
- Serve as AMA New York liaisons with local collegiate chapters for recruitment, retention, and engagement
- Serve as mentors to collegiate council members after graduation
- Attend 6 Junior Council meetings per year and four AMA New York Board of Directors meetings per year. (Meetings take place after work hours)
- Maintain active membership in AMA New York
